CROSS TOWN CULTURAL CONNECTION

To kick off our collaborative effort, International students from China and their Gilbert School Ambassadors came to Northwestern on January30 to celebrate Chinese New Year with Northwestern's Chinese language students. Students translated Chinese proverbs, created calligraphy posters, played Chinese vocabulary games as well as several other games. The afternoon was capped off with a Chinese buffet luncheon.

To promote the Cross-Town Cultural Connection, we gave out Chinese bubble tea at the annual Cross-Town Rivalry basketball game on February 17.
